DA says it’s ready to take on the ANC

The leader of the Democratic Alliance (DA) Mmusi Maimane remains set in his quest to have President Jacob Zuma removed from power and the African National Congress (ANC) led government dissolved. This after the eighth failed motion of no confidence in the incumbent.

“We call on those who are within the ANC, who are against corruption, looting and state capture, to vote in support of our motion. Ultimately, the issues about realigning our politics in South Africa… we can’t sustain the challenge of the politics of our patronage,” Mmusi Maimane said.

“In this particular election… because it would be of a national nature, we believe that we’d be able to supply a voters’ roll that could pass the master for these particular elections,” said DA leader Mmusi Maimane.
